Members of the Motorhome Hire Fleet team at Ferndown and Andover-based motorhome hire specialist, Abacus, have spent months undergoing additional training that will now enable them to modify and upgrade not only their current range of vehicles, but also the 18 new vehicles being added to the rental fleet for 2018.
Jon Clayton, Manager of the Abacus motorhome division, said that they can now introduce features that benefit their customers and speed up throughput: “We can now make it easier and cheaper for customers to replenish their gas supply whilst out touring in the UK and Europe with approved adaptations to the way they refuel, and a the additional qualifications gained by our staff means that we are at the top of our game in terms of diagnostics and repair.”
With a fleet of 50 vehicles, the company carries out frequent habitation checks in addition to their own servicing to ensure that each motorhome is kept to a high standard and that the re-sale value after a few years remains high.
“We now offer this service to private motorhome owners who need a one-stop centre to refurbish, renovate, repair, upgrade and maintain their favourite way of enjoying their leisure time,” added Jon.
