Returned motorhome yesterday after Carfest South. Abacus have been excellent. In particular Stewart who helped us with the original booking, checkin and checkout etc and Amber who I must have driven mad trying to get the date changed so we could go up a day earlier, all sorted. I was very impressed with the entire operation, they are a main dealer and service so you know the hire vehicles are all maintained in tip top condition. We will be using Abacus again and thank them for great service ?

Easy online booking process and efficient handover with friendly and helpful staff. Our motorhome was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. Would thoroughly recommend.

Well what can I say, this has been the second time we’ve hired from Abacus Motorhomes, this year we had a larger model “Bailey Autograph 79-6” the vehicle was in excellent condition, clean fully fuelled up and ready to go on our arrival, all the staff are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable, what more could you ask for, so Abacus Motorhomes we are looking forward to the next one.

We wanted to turn our summer into an adventure and our motorhome did that! After talking to Stuart, he explained everything really well and we were so pleased with the whole trip. I would recommend the team to anyone. Thanks again for making our summer!

We have been absolutely blown away with with the service we received from Abacus. Whilst on holiday in the area we had a fault with the heating system on our CARAVAN and phoned them on the off chance that they might be able to help us. We were totally amazed by the friendly and helpful experience this turned out to be. They checked all the electrics and even the battery and found the fault very quickly and were able to get the heating going again and so that we could have hot water while we waited for the part they had ordered to be delivered. I can't thank you all enough and a special thanks to H who appears to be the resident genius with a heart of gold. Abacus was recommended to us by my sister who lives in Andover, and we will certainly be recommending Abacus to all our motor homing friends

We booked a Motorhome with Abacus for a week away in Cornwall. We were totally new to Motor-homing and the staff made us feel at ease. This company is a Family run business with Customer Services at its heart. The whole interaction with staff from booking online to saying thanks at the end of the meeting was a pleasure. The vehicle was very clean and impeccable throughout. I would 100% recommend this service to anybody wishing to try out a Motorhome!

Just rented our first motorhome from Abacus, they were very accommodating when I changed and extended my booking, helpful when I had a small engine (oil) trouble that I had to have first pay out for but this was quickly reimbursed on return with copy of my receipt, (this was in T's&C's) so knew what I was getting into should something like this were to happen. Great staff and great selection of rental and sales stock. I will definitely book with Abacus Motorhomes again.

We were looking to buy a motor home and we were recommended abacus and we are so pleased we went to see them. We were looked after by John Lailey and he was and still is really helpful, nothing is too much trouble, and he is happy to help in any way he can. The ladies in the office are super helpful as well. I felt impelled to give you some feedback having just taken delivery of our Adria 670 Firstly the product is superb, the detailing, the quality of the fixtures and fittings is on another level to any of the many Motorhome’s I’ve owned and the introduction to this is all down to John Lailey I wasn’t really in the market for a new van, just a casual interest but this all changed when on collecting my much loved Autotrail from your workshop I happened to ask John what, with his experience in the business he considered to be a premium quality van and that was that John was great, such an affable, unassuming decent genuine man, a person I felt I could instantly trust. Nothing was too much trouble, nor should it be but he didn’t know that I was going to end up spending £80k In fact everyone I came into contact with were refreshingly charming and helpful. You have an energy going on which, if you manage to maintain will serve your business well. So whoever is employing these people is doing a great job too Also, can I give a mention to Sid who looked after me in the workshop. He too is excellent. I like him a lot for it’s rare to find someone so young so focused on client care And finally please tell David Wolfenden from one entrepreneur to another….hats off to you !!

We had an electrical problem with our motorhome and Abacus were on our route from Norfolk to Plymouth. From our first call to the moment we left they were the most helpful and kindly people. We are very satisfied with service we received (above and beyond what we expected) and despite the distance we will definitely consider having our habitation service done by Abacus next year whilst enjoying the local area. Thank you John and the team - our faith in humankind has been restored.

We had a fabulous experience using Abacus recently. We were fully guided and instructed on how to use everything and encouraged to check it over ourselves before leaving. When returning we were welcomed back. All communication was clear and thw customer service brilliant. 10/10

From my initial contact with Jon the service offered by abacus was second to non. We were kept well informed of all necessary details and payment times that needed to be adhered to. We encountered some issues but were very confident that these would be dealt with in a professional manner, as they were. Abacus motorhome hire is quite possibly the best customer service/interaction that I have ever come across in a business. We have already booked another motorhome for next year, and would recommend the company to anyone who needs this kind of service. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Fantastic service and defiantly worth the 2 hour trip from Home to use your services. Thank you once again.

Can't recommend these guys enough. Competitive prices and great vehicles, always immaculate and the service is second to none. We recently hired and when we returned my son had lost his wallet. Mentioned it to John when we returned the motor home and he said we'll let you know if we find it. I got a call to say they had found it and was returned a few days later. Top rate and helpful customer service when we had our motorhome serviced at Abacus. the facilities are excellent and they have the full range of skills and capability under one roof. Very good technical knowledge about all aspects of motorhomes.

I went to Abacus on Saturday to find out about hire, what is involved, costs etc. I was met by Stu. He could not have been more helpful. He went through everything very thoroughly, explaining hire, costs, insurance, extras etc. We were provided with a very useful brochure that contained all of the terms of hire, all of which are entirely reasonable. We were looking because we are thinking of hiring a van to see what it was like before buying one, so Stu's help/knowledge was invaluable. When Stu went into the office I spoke to a customer who was returning a van. He was full of praise. I will definitely be hiring from here, I was filled with confidence by the knowledge experience and honesty of the staff.

Highly recommended. Had some great trips in Abacus motorhomes. Friendly, reliable and clean. Specs are high end. Will always return to these guys for my motorhome needs

I hired with Abacus for the first time this weekend and my experience with them was pleasant to say the least! They applied a discount for being referred by a friend which I thought was fantastic as it’s normally the person referring that receives it, (with most companies). The staff were very friendly and helpful, always there for any information/help needed. Pricing was fair, the motor home was clean and had all the facilities needed. I will definitely be using Abacus again and I would highly recommend them.

It was a pleasure to meet you, albeit in a rushed manner on Friday. We had a lovely mini-break in your lovely motorhome. It was our first time and I’m sure it will be the first of many times in the future. I have ties with Spain so most of my free time ends up being out there, which is a shame as I much prefer the UK nowadays!
