Motorhome travel 

The fun and beauty of the NC500 is only heightened with travelling by motorhome. You will always be immersed in the experience! However, this does come with an added responsibility and extra care that needs to be taken when travelling around this route. 

The good news is that these tips are generally the same for all motorhome travel, so if you’re an experienced traveller, it should come to you with ease! 

Firstly, keep your distance when travelling. You are operating a larger vehicle, and will often come across smaller roads, so it is important to keep your distance, and don’t speed. The winding mountain roads can be a challenge, so don’t make it harder by trying to speed through them! 

One of the great sights on this trip is witnessing the beautiful wildlife first hand. But this also leads to animals on the road - so be cautious when driving!
